During the winter months, District full time employees spend a considerable amount of time applying for grant funding from a variety of federal and state sources. The District is currently engaged in five grant funded noxious weed control projects. All are multi-year projects and are either in progress or have not yet been started. This funding is used to facilitate noxious weed herbicide treatments on private and public land throughout Big Horn County. The District's goal with these projects is to institute drainage wide, cross jurisdictional  weed control efforts across all property boundaries. The table below lists the grant funded projects that the District is currently involved in.
